"Onondaga County officials will gather this afternoon in Syracuse for a dedication ceremony marking the return of the regimental flag of the 149th New York Volunteer Infantry, which fought at Gettysburg and took part in General William Sherman's march to the sea."

It was a well done ceremony. Myself, and three others went to the courthouse to act as the colorguard for the event. The county leaders as well as leaders of the Jewish community turned out to commemorate the return of the flag. Now, we just have to figure out how to keep the flag in Syracuse so it can be displayed.
